Completing prestige 20 is a great goal to test the limits of your adaptability. Seeing how long you can maintain a win streak on prestige 20 daily expeditions is an even harder bar if you need one.
I'm kinda just watching where the updates go and slowly climbing the prestige and citadel ladders alike (y'all really need to be less stingy with machinery). Ultimately tho I feel this is the kind of game that tries to be infinitely replayable and can only really succeed up to a point. Kind of like Rogue Legacy 2.
Does the whole map reset every cycle? I take it you are supposed to pick a direction and go in it to try get question marks as far away as possible?
Questionmark tiles are unveiled when you get close and including the tile into a settlement gives you citadel ressources needed for climbing the citadel ladder. My strategy is to start an outleading line of settlements that makes me hit as many question marks as possible in one cycle. I have given up competing with other factions (you are too early in game, other factions on the map are unlocked at a higher level) and only follow my own course. There are special tiles mentioned in the deeds list that seem to be so rare and far out that I have not been able to reach one yet (level15). I primarily head outwards away from the citadel, but if I have to swerve sideways to get a tile I want to collect I will do it. First tme winning with a specified tile included in your settlement will fulfill a deed and gives you XP.
QUESTION: How are prestige levels unlocked? By winning first time on viceroy? I thought it was level-related but since they are still locked for me (currently in a veteran playthrough) it must be something else.
Just win games on higher difficulty (win the Viceroy difficulty and you will get access to prestige 1, and so on as long as you choose the higher difficulty)
I am now stuck at Prestige 15, I love the harpy before for they are easy to satisfy for resolve but now im starting to hate them. prima donna loafers
Yes. If you win the queens hand trial there is an ending cut scene for winning.
You can watch it in on my youtube channel. For those who don't want to spend two months getting there
Holly molly, thank you.
