PS4 controller incredibly bright
So why does this game require SteamInput? It supports DirectInput fine, but still puts xbox icons. This game forces my PS4 controller to be incredibly bright, so bright that it is actually lighting up my screen and making things hard to play. It overrides my steam controller settings, which I set to be a very dim blue. When I start the game, it changes it to an extremely bright teal.

You use a dualshock PS4 controler ?

I invite you to try this

It doesn't require SteamInput, it uses the native SONY API for input (libScePad). Good riddance to Steam Input :)

This is a good idea, just use DS4Windows and this. I just don't understand why this would be necessary, the game has PS4 buttons by default.

If you turn off steam input and play the game with ray DirectInput from the DS4, it WORKS, but it has Xbox buttons. The only way to get it to have DS4 buttons is to use SteamInput, or use the mod above.
