Can also be inside of a bunker, not just a cave. Resin can be found at golf carts that's where I found them.

When you get the shovel the game finally starts to get interesting. Sons of the Forest is definitely a success i also like the gunplay its kinda strange having access to firearms but i guess you are some sort of mercenary so that makes sense.

You need the rope gun to get the shovel

The shovel is found near the first GPS locator, the one where the person is hanging. There is a cave nearby that has the shovel right near it.

Hope everyone find the shovel because then the game start being interesting, you can get a shotgun, dig the graves and find the bunkers with the keycards and having clue of what happenned in to the people on the island. I did my best to update the Wiki from Sons of the Forest however please feel free to add more precise informations as I don't have the game and can't tell the exact location.

You can find the shovel in a cave near the helicopters where you have to explode the monster that blocks the passage further away and after it you have to go a bit until you come to a place where you can see a bunker and there you find the shovel.
YOU DEFINITELY NEED A GRENADE AND A BOMB.
