You also get to appreciate the differences between the versions if you play the originals first.
I had a lot of fun with sin, buy sin gold if you just wanna beat it and wages, but don't expect many bells and whistles. Its the original buggy game. Sin is a shooter that I thought was a cops and robbers quake engine game and didn't think much of it. But when I actually started playing it and trying to beat it the game grew on me. But the first 2 levels do not do this game much justice. The banks ok, but then the horrible 2nd level with a bunch of fire escape platforming... Yea its bad., but the farther along the game gets, it actually gets a lot better.
Wages was a better game tho, not as many levels, but the levels were a bit more fun and more well thought out to me. Especially ones like the casino, or the art exhibit. Better weapons in wages also. But this is why I hope we get a different kind of structure for reloaded. One with customization options, fixed bugs, level select, with possible optional missions and difficulty a lot like goldeneye.. And a lot more. The game needs a lot of work but its an awesome shooter full of potential.
Also the only ND remaster I'm looking forward to atm. Dark forces well I have that on steam and it really is a boring old shooter not sure why they wanted that one.
My friend Dark Forces is everything but boring... it's the birth of Kyle Katarn saga and a whole legacy with it. Having said that... I didn't know this game (Sin) existed at all it flew under my radar at that time. Just bought Sin Gold and to my surprise there's a remaster in the works!
I'm super excited for Dark Forces and with that I hope the whole saga gets a proper remaster!
