Since we can't post guides yet, I thought I would create this topic for what we know about accessing the debug console in the Dragon Quest XI S Demo:
  • First off, you will need to use Universal UE4 Unlocker (Method 2), as DQXIHook has not yet been updated for the Definitive Edition release (modders are still working on that, but we have no way of contacting the original author).
  • We have heard reports that some newer versions of UUU don't work correctly for the demo. We recommend 3.0.0 - 3.0.2. You can find a copy of 3.0.2 here: hxxps:/mega.nz/file/fkVSQbZT#HFbNDCx7L8T1ULrB7vEyzgDrY1x5js71jHfVG8am0B4 (you need to replace the "xx" in the "hxxps" -- done so the link will not be removed)
  • Most commands are the same, although not everything is accessible in the demo
  • FriendJoin works, and the following characters are available: P002 (Erik), P003 (Veronica), P004 (Serena), P008 (Hendrik) -- technically, you can add the others, but their models are not in the demo (you will likely run into bugs as a result)
  • Available zoom locations: Heliodor City (0001), Heliodor Castle (0002), Hotto (0003), Cobblestone (0008), Cobblestone- Destroyed (0008_S1), Heliodor Region (Campsite), The Emerald Coast (Campsite), Heliodorian Foothills- Church (0023), The Manglegrove (0024), The Hotto Steppe (0026), Heliodor City- Downtown (0035) -- trying to zoom to other locations will softlock the demo

r.JackMonsterViewDistanceScale 0.03 -- reduces the distance at which enemies spawn (makes encounters harder to avoid)
Also, FriendLeave now works with P001 as an option, so for a Hero-less party:
FriendLeave P001
Updated the Guest NPC list.

Do you know if there's a way to change hero's name? even it's by editing some archive?

The command to do that is just:
SetPlayerName <NewName>

Added new boss IDs - almost every enemy from the original is still available in the demo and can be spawned using
MonsterSpawn <EnemyID>
Less than a week away from the release of DE. At some point we will be adding more detailed information, once the new version of the guide is up: RuraJump commands for accessing normally inaccessible areas of the game, Triple*** commands for 2D mode (most commands for 2D mode are the exact same syntax, just called via "Triple" prefix), etc

At one point we came upon a way to access a special debug room thanks to this poster

Does anyone know where to find the equipment and costume codes? Trying to force Erik's clothes into the inventory.

Not all of them, but we are (finally) compiling a detailed Item ID list. Offhand, I can tell you that E_CLO_0306 is the Item ID for Erik's Wolf Wear (Lupine Look) Costume

ForceGetItem E_CLO_0306 1
Thank you, really appreciate it

On the full guide page, there's also a command for getting every item in the game (although I know for some, that's overkill)

ForceGetItem All 32

I'm mainly trying to look for the missing items that does not seem to be immediately available such as the Wolf Wear and others. Thanks for the help, I'll wait for there to be more info on what is missing.

That's all that we know that's missing so far -- although in another (now buried) thread, I did mention a couple placeholder items that were never implemented in the game in the first place:
