Having been in this game from the start ok fine 4 days after the initial launch, having completed everything basically. I can tell you it is just P2W trash from EA Games. EA killed Maxis and Bioware. EA Games is a studio graveyard. Activision destroyed Blizzard in much the same way. Now Tencent will destroy Warframe... Enjoy your corporate gaming that only focuses on $$$$ not content.

Only thing I hate about swtor and pretty much all modern mmo type games is they literally spend 95% of development on new cosmetic items. Actual real content or new game mechanics are basically extinct.

Its not P2W, but I remember back in 2015 and 2016 the PvP was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥. They buffed the absolute ♥♥♥♥ out of the jedi/sith mage class and there was no counterplay unless you had full stack in teamspeak. (Also technically it is now P2W for PvP seeing how ranked is behind a paywall.)

i never do ranked anyways as its only 4v4 and the queues take hours sometimes. i like 8v8 anarchy where the queues flow constantly like the salmon of capistrano

Dude the only thing I spent money is monthly subscription, so I could play raids. Everything else can literally be bought with the in-game currency, which is insanely easy to get nowadays. I am sitting on 200 million credits, which is enough to satisfy basic needs, such as top tier gear, raiding consumables, and similar, on more than 20 characters. You can also craft most of it yourself. So, I don't really see who any aspect of the game is pay to win, or even a cash grab. If you want to buy something, such as cosmetic items, play the game, and you will earn enough credits to buy them. You're just trolling.
