BUT SWTOR was made for normal ppl not brainless kids, now its casual AF too...but anyway SW better thatn WoW in many shades.
It does have its issues, such as its difficulty to provide an accessible co-op experience for players (among others), but it's worth a shot. And as others have said, it's free so there's no harm in trying!
This game alongside every other f2p/b2p mmo is just a nickle and dime sham designed from the ground up with the sole purpose of fleecing people.
If you want a genuine mmorpg experience i would suggest go play Classic WoW. Pay your sub and enjoy the game knowing that everyone is on the same playing field, and if you want powerful gear or a shiny mount you actually have to play and be good at the game, not ask your mom for 20$.
I swear to god why people prefer f2p/b2p mmos over proper subscription mmos will always be a mystery to me.
