no loot?

I startd playing TTW with my wife and we had a lot of fun for the first few hours, but then fun loot just stoped appearing. We played for some hours afterwards, missions over missions, side quests over sidequests and... nothing. We still uSe the same weapons we found at the start and since then only garbage droped. All chests garbage, all vending machines, garbage, side quests, garbage. We stoped playing entirely since the one thing these games had always going for them (the interesting weapons and equipments) just stoped after the beginning.

the loot drops in this game are a tad stingy.
i'm becoming a Vending Machine junkie, just to keep up.

TTWL is strange
in BL1,2 and 3 I know what the good gear is and I know where to get it
In TTWL I end up with a live wire of the treetops what the heck does that mean?

i'm gonna go waaay out on a limb here.
they should've gone with more traditional fantasy weapons instead of guns.

since this game world is created from Tiny Tina's rather overactive imagination.
i'm kinda surprised there's no crossbow packing a few pounds of TNT on the arrows.

To answer OP, since no one seems to have answered. Its probably due to loot luck which requires you to find loot dice around each map. It heavily dictates the quality of drops and its one of the worst additions to the series.

If they made it more fantasy its not really BL at that point.

Agree a tad on the weapon choices. Tho, the gear gets better the closer to level 40 you get.
Then endgame you have ofc the option to get way better and fun gear.

I suggest testing the mirrors if you have the dlc's. Those bring a lot of better equipment than the main story gives.(If your lucky that is)

The loot luck you get from collecting the D20 on the different maps become increasingly important as you level up. In order to get any kind of fun gear that is.

Some are pretty tricky to find even if you explore though.

Loot seems okay to me, but ... I do tend to seek out the Dice.

Also ... even if it's common quality ... a level 20 Thumbsbain is going to beat a level 1 Thumbsbain.

Loot sucks until you get to the dankmire and it starts to pick up from there assuming you're keeping an eye out for loot dice and treasure chests off the main path.
