It means that they were fools to age her so much in B3; but since B3 was... really really bad in terms of story, in my own personal head cannon it does not exist

Yeah, probably this more than anything. Adult Tina was a massive swing and a miss. She'll be younger in BL4, or not in it at all.

Why are you being so hard on the devs for this choice? 10 years between stories has been standard practice for turning any game into a franchise.

Not sure what you mean by "being hard" on the dev's the simple fact was adult Tina didn't work so they rolled back the clock. Unless they do some sillies with making Tina an old lady (could be funny) she will be Tiny again in BL4. They are not going to make millde age or menopause Tina. It was a terrible decision to make her an adult in 3. The character didn't work.

B3 was altogether a crappy piece of work - aging Tina - and doing it poorly - was one of many many annoying flaws.

I agree with this. Aging her would have been ok, and I actually liked the new character model, but giving them (brick/mordi/Tina) so little to do, just a handful of side-missions, was a major mistake.

I was not too keen on Tina in BL2, but warmed to her greatly after TTAODK gave her some growth.

Then came BL3 - Supposedly; according to the Eridian Guardian, this was to be the big one. "A war is coming and you will need all the vault hunters you can find".
And they decided to minimise our interactions with many older characters, and throw new obnoxious ones' in their place.

This game does look interesting, but like many have said, not full price interesting. Now seeing the first two dlc's, and the pitiful content contained therein, this has been relegated to Deep Sale status.

Almost 40 hrs into the game and I've barely scratched the surface, IMO better then B3. I'm having a blast with this game, I'd rather have it cheaper but it's worth full price.

But the reason "Adult" Tina dosent work...

Borderlands is a world full of insanity in general, and it works off general pop culture references as well, you dont expect half the things coming from tina to be coming from a Kid. nor do you expect that kid to be an explosives expert.

When you make her an adult... shes just as insane as everyone else.

shes a kid here, but it seems her brand of humor no longer works as we are afraid of offending people...

my advice.

if you are looking to be offended, by mental health jokes, sexual innuendo jokes, gender jokes,sexual prefrences jokes, or any other things that would be "offensive" in general...

you are playing the WRONG game.

She is 10 in BL2. She mourns Roland in Dragon Keep, so she could be 11. In Wonderlands, she's 12. I couldn't find any acknowledgment of Tina when searching Tales of the Borderlands, so she could have been anywhere between 15 and 18 since in BL3 she's 20.
