Yeah this attack is really counter intuitive because it's safe when it's orange, which is largely associated, not just outside of but even within this very game itself, with danger due to being a red-range color and it's unsafe when it's blue which is similarly associated with safety.
I haven't even played more than 2 hours but a good number of deaths have been caused to me by this attack because I know what to do but still screw it up because in the heat of battle I just see what looks like a death orb and go "Ah yes I'll avoid it" and then it expands and kills me like an idiot.

Additionally, I can't seem to help myself but avoid trying to shoot anything that's got the dome between me and the target because my brain associates it with being an energy shield which it isn't, and you can totally shoot stuff through it.

Good lord. Ive played 12 hrs of this game and I thought it was like some sort of enter the gungeon dodge through it type ♥♥♥♥. I feel so incredibly stupid rn.
