How to use bombs?

I was hoping I saw a thread that asked this question but everyone seems to know how to place them.

So I can't figure out how to place them I just got a bomb that's red I can't place says hit the accessibility key that doesn't do anything so I checked the keybinding it's fine.

Apparently I'm dumb... I can't see any indication or explanation on how to use bombs apparently I'm supposed to just know.

I can't even find a YT video on how to place them. I'm at a rock thing you can blow up in the newer area behind the waterfall but when I try to craft the bomb it's just red and won't let me craft it.

Right Click the explosive in the inventory, it will get dropped. Then left click on it to trigger it.

DO NOT drop it with the normal drop button. You need to right click it in inventory.

If you hover your mouse over the stuff in your inventory you should get a tooltip for most things, in the case of the bombs it says, "right click to use" ...

Once you 'use' it, it will drop--if you hover your mouse over it you should see a tooltip that says "trigger bomb".

Just a click'll do it - but do make sure to stand back a bit as soon as you hit the trigger, there's a bit of a delay but not much... :-)

Also, be sure you're not on the Deconstruct tool when you drop it or you'll disassemble it instead of activate it! I've done that an embarrassingly large number of times now...

the tooltip explicitly says "right-click to use" it couldn't be any clearer, then just left-click on bomb and run.

So have I.
That's why I use a mod called "Prevent Accidental Deconstruction", with it installed it won't deconstruct an item, and instead reminds you to hold down the CTRL Key (Or any key you want) and then Click on the Item to Deconstruct.
It's a nice "Safety Switch"

Seems to be some confusion on what I'm asking. I can't even craft it so it's not in my inventory. I right click it in crafting menu it pins the recipe. I left click and it wants to place it on the ground but it's always red as if it's not able to be placed.

I can't figure out how to even craft it I'm not getting any notifiers popping up as to what I'm doing wrong in game. I tried the accessibility key (which was the only notifier in game I got) and tried clicking it inside of crafting menu and outside when trying to place it and nothing happens.

EDIT: To make this clearer... say if for example I was crafting a platform or room and there was an obstruction it would be red so I couldn't craft it or place it. That is what I'm seeing. That's what I mean I can't place or craft a bomb it's red.

Perfect!!! Yeah that's what I was missing crafting in autocrafter.. I didn't think the bomb would be in the crafting menu AND the autocrafter that's what was throwing me off, I was only looking in the crafting menu and not the autocrafter. I never see items in both areas it's either one or the other. I see what's going on now...

the only bomb you will find in the main crafting menu is the large explosive used to destroy the anomaly, which is automatically unlocked after you reach 5 TTI

Didn't even realise it was in the building menu. Perhaps they meant to do it that way and then decided to make an item?

It isn't. There is only the large explosive device, which consists of three tubes (or dynamite bars, or whatever it is).

I'm at like 25GTi and I don't have any explosives in my build menu...

It's not in your build menu. Both the bomb and explosive powder are biolab recipes.

How or when will the bomb unlock? I only have the explosive powder in my Biolab but I am at 5.95TTI and reached complete terraformation

they're in the blueprint chips tier 9 so you gotta unlock 30ish to get it
