I gave up on the game in the end because of this. I got to the end of the current content and was just building a mega base for fun but these meteor showers just dragged on and on and on and on and on and on and on ........ annoying isn't it. When things pointlessly go on far longer than necessary.
I am not 100% sure but mine were going on so long I think it would be a lot faster to save, reload and if IIRC then the shaking isn't there in the new load. Not 100% on that at all but I think it's gone. I thought of this in the middle of my rage-quit and I honestly couldn't be ar$ed testing it.
These showers were lasting in the order of a minute or so. It gets old real fast. Not only that but meteor showers target the player for whatever obscure reason so you are always in the middle of it and can get trapped in buildings waiting for meteors blocking doors to dissolve.
It's just unnecessary.
Thank you.
And crimeny- if I was bouncing around that much IRL I'd be dead for sure. I was in Oakland in '89 and even that wasn't that shaky.
Default this to OFF please.
