Why doesn't it have all the episodes?
The title pretty much say it all, there are a lot of missing episodes from the first game like one little piggy (which I might guess why it was removed) and more

What happened?

i agree. classic part 1 and 2 togeher have 28 episodes. (if you include the 3 tutoril episodes in part 1, its 31 episodes). but the remsater seem to have only 25. so at least 3 episodes are missing (and the 3 tutorial episodes. but i guess they removed the tutorial episodes and just put the text tutorial into the first episode in the remstaer)

I don`t understand why they did that, those 3 episodes were important to learn the basics of the game by doing it.

They also remove some graphics elements form game itself. I make screenshot from first mission on my original retail version and compare it to remaster. Its missing red mailbox, gas stove and hinges and handles from cupboards upstairs, sink was also transfer to the table (who do that?). Plant inside was replaced with similar model from outside. Its just first screen of game. Why? I have no idea.

Technically they didn't removed any of stuff from the original. Since the original is actually based of console versions, aka Gamecube/OG Xbox. If you compare NBackfH with console NfH it'll be obvious.
And if I had to assume, this is the same reason why some missions are missing, but I'm just assuming, didn't played console versions myself.

That make sense, but i'm still sad about missing episodes, at least those, should be considered to be re added. As i play more i see more changes, toilet paper and soap have different appearance and so on, but its not change much to gameplay itself, it's ok.

Yeah, most of remasters or remakes tend to have some changes, which makes it impossible to just replace the original. Sucks they don't try to prevent that, but thankfully, originals are still there.

This. The remake is based on the original console version of 2005, that's why later content might be missing.

I would assume asking for restoring some content will be too much. But thanks for clarifying anyway, and for making this remaster. Beats trying to run console versions, that's for sure.

Later? It content from 2003 game, you mean older content. Now we know on what version it based but why that levels wasn't just added as part of new version? Resent Command & Conquer remastered add all mission from all previous version, both PC and consoles.

But why? Why didn't you base on the PC version?

back From Hell has 25 levels so 3 levels and the introduction were "removed" (depending on which version you compare it to)

Because they can't implement controller support on PC and release the remake on consoles too. A small example is how the phone works on the original PC release. You click it and it rings. On the console versions you select it and click on a board next to woody. The dog whistle is another example. The original console release is just better and easier to port over if you also want to include controller support in the remaster/remake.
