And if I had to assume, this is the same reason why some missions are missing, but I'm just assuming, didn't played console versions myself.
Later? It content from 2003 game, you mean older content. Now we know on what version it based but why that levels wasn't just added as part of new version? Resent Command & Conquer remastered add all mission from all previous version, both PC and consoles.
Because they can't implement controller support on PC and release the remake on consoles too. A small example is how the phone works on the original PC release. You click it and it rings. On the console versions you select it and click on a board next to woody. The dog whistle is another example. The original console release is just better and easier to port over if you also want to include controller support in the remaster/remake.
