Indeed, they should really be rethinking their marketing strategy after this flounder.

I feel cheated, that you're holding what I want on a string, dangling it and even threatening to raise the price and delay it further. We want higher quality. You don't deserve to the raise the prices further - $30 per DLC pack is already insanely high for the small amount of content you actually provide in each pack.

Let's look at the Boston-Providence portion as an example, in the eyes of the $30 per price you're showing now.

You're re-using the models from TSW2020 for the Northeast Regional Amtrak train. That's *fine*, you're adding the MBTA trains as a new model. That's great.

But let's assume it has 10 or less scenarios, and a full timetable of general, uneventful runs, with decor that uses recycled content in 'generic america' style, with generic vehicles (including some that are clearly euro style and do not belong in the enviro), and has a few odd bugs that will likely not be fixed, hopefully nothing game-breaking like the last Amtrak DLC that was so close but crippled by lazy mistakes.

If this DLC is *that*. Dovetail- please think about it. Is that REALLY worth $30? You've got to commit. Quality. Please. PLEASE. I'm FINE paying that much if the quality, and the content is there - but if it's like what you've made recently and in the past - it's genuinely a ripoff.

Vehicles in the US need to have US license plates, not EU ones. Boston needs to LOOK like Boston. Providence, needs to LOOK like Providence. PLEASE go through the effort to make this seriously a good map, a good rendition of the area you're portraying.

The quality NEEDS to improve.

What you're making currently is NOT worth the $30 price tag. Splitting them out into three for $30 each OR $40 for a "season pass" just sounds like an even worse deal.

If you need to delay it - that's FINE, but make it a QUALITY PRODUCT, guys. Please. I want to love this DLC. Please don't rush this out and give up on it like the New York dlc from TSW2020.

Give us an American DLC that is something quality. You haven't done that in a while.

I live in New England, and I'm super stoked for the Boston - Providence route, especially the MBTA stuff. Hopefully they'll recreate most of the commuter line stops in and out of Boston. I'd also love to see a Boston subway simulator too. As for the quality of the environment, I'm totally in agreement with you.

In case you didn't watch the stream today, the launch date of Boston - Providence has been sat to the 19th of August. The other routes will be launced in the following months (Late summer this year apparently).

Actually summer ends on 22nd September officially so its more than 25 days. However, I still think the advertising was really bad and DTG should make a statement about their poor marketing! that said, knowing DTG they probably think its ok to go through to 31st October when the clocks change from BST. Seems like a deliberate advertising campaign to draw in customers knowing they will want to buy it more, the longer they wait. Got to credit them really. shame they ignore their customers though and show complete disregard to them. Its what money does to people I am afraid!!

I watched it, unfortunately it made me lose even more respect for DTG as a developer. I used to respect them fully in the early days, then they brought out Train Simulator from Railworks and that was the end of what looked like a positive developer who not only wanted to make money but had a real interest in the community and the project, this turned out to not be the case and money now drives their greed. Sorry but its true and such a massive shame

Most likely you have paid for Trainsim World 3 already before that happens

oh dear, way to kill your customer uptake DG so everyone who was going to buy it will now just buy one route if they really want it. Considering there is still scenario breaking bugs in your DLC routes for TSW1 and a scenario breaking bug still on one of the first the koln-koblitz route that came out with TSW1 i will no longer be buying DLC other then thew routes that come with it. It is usually 60/40 on whether the full journey scenario will ever actually work all the way through without broken signals so every bit of money spent is a gamble, that should not be the case with a game that has been built and developed for years, when i buy a game for my console, its never a gamble, it works, why is the PC never the same?

Disappointment vibe check!

Uninstalled all of DTG's software on my PC. The money I have spent on their products is obscene. Between the abandoned fishing game rip offs and now this ♥♥♥♥ show, i'm done with it.

Dovetail Disappointment as always. not worth getting this. They cancelled the bakerloo line timetable expansion already. so Yeah Big disappointment from dovetail again. Never ever will I start hoping for good things from dovetail
