Okay, my bad, but what's the point using alternative remote cloud service that most likely is less reliable than the Steam's one? I mean, multiplayer is one thing, but you already give your money away to both publisher and Steam, why not using the service provided by Steam you already pay 33% of your income for.
Steam cloud is not an option for our needs. So we have our own. SPF isn not only on steam, so our own server is the best option.

Connection to a server is needed. It is because of cloud saves. We saves all of your progress on our cloud, so you can continue on other PC.

the game has a lot of problems, but cloud saving is fine. got no problem with that. almost every game does that, and progress saving is a good thing.

You've requested a refund? I don't see that you have the game.
We don't use Steam cloud. We have our own cloud servers.
Our game need to be connected all the time because of that.

Wow. And what happens when your fly-by-night publishers abandon the game?

Cloud is ours. Publisher can't shut the cloud servers down. ;)
