u mean the whole season?
i have a feeling that it might be easier for underdogs, i think counter-attack 1 vs 1 situations are improved.
Im playing prem and except Liverpool, other teams are not playing that well like in fm 2020.

for now i think fm 2021 engine is much better.

Playing as Chelsea and been beaten a couple times. But ME is far superior than last year.

Same here, started my own team in Portuguese 3rd division, not a strong contender, did some good transfers though, but only a couple games until december 2020.

same with FC Porto, won every game in league so far and every CL game aswell, beat dortmund 3 0

This is usually the case on beta to be fair, it'll be tweaked at some point and rebalanced (not seeing too many aweful decisions yet for me

First season, I was unbeaten with Newcastle until after Christmas. Top of the league by 6 points. Callum Wilson had scored 25 goals in the league too. I wasn't complaining but it seems a bit crazy.

probably u have some crazy tactics ; ), actually i found pretty hard playing versus newcastle so far, some crazy counter-attacking stuff, but they're relegation zone in my save, probably playing good only vs me ; )

but it was possible to win with not great club Prem also in fm 20, i managed to win the league first season with West Ham but it was pretty hard, second Champions League and in third i bought Mbappe.
but with Newcastle, yeah, its even harder.

I'm actually finding it quite realistic at the moment.

Leeds being unbeaten is way overachieving in the Prem, and going to a lower league won't make it harder if you choose the best team!

ive almost managed to finish first full season, and despite experimenting with tactics and awful start i managed to finish first with really low points (ive been better in cups, thought)

but i never ever saw in fm 19 and 20 big 6 getting so low points and i played like many, many seasons, even fm 20 mighty liverpool did bad

idk if its beacuse of counter-attacking improvement and better ratio 1 vs 1 situation which benefits worse teamse? any ideas?

Agree,,i am veteran player and i could see last years ME is so tough, so hard to maintain the same tactic over years, event after winter transfer i need make some change in the tactic and player role because AI respond the game very well..

I play Man Utd and still unbeaten in league, but it is more tough in champion league, Maybe this is the outcome of improvement of the AI on the game, striker feed with more logic pass and easier to find the goal. Number of the goal score on every match still rational but i could see the team are very determined to make comeback.

Honestly, for now, i enjoy more the game because being stuck at home frustrated enough and i don't want much burden from the game. ME this year feel like playing the game from under 2010 era.

I'm 9 games into a Premier League season as Aston Villa and I'm 4 Wins 3 Draws and 2 Losses.

I think this ME is better than FM 19, I didn't play 20 though, but it seems harder, in FM19 I was getting top 4 with Brighton, Nott'm Forest & Leicester with less than 5-8 Losses the entire season.
