There were a couple of threads here saying it was bad :S
so i refund this game when you dont change it, it takes the fun in this game
lol. You know you can configure the mouse settings in game, right ?
There's always some work to do to perfect it, but I've cleared the first location 100% and that's fine.
However, I don't completely understand the item selection wheel. It irritates me that Deacon keeps hiding his weapons every moment and I'm not really sure whether I will attack in a melee or fire.
But it's probably a matter of habit. Unless there's an option that I haven't noticed for weapons in your hands all the time?
Anyway, I was waiting for this game a lot, I was awake waiting for the premiere and after an hour and a half I was not disappointed. I'm glad that there is so much playing ahead of me.
Guess I'll take a look myself when I get home..
That was a common complaint back in the day and no, there's no option for that. You will have to get used and remember to select the chosen weapon each time you want to use it like melee when getting close to zombies while sneaking, or a gun if some are running to you and have the option to take out some before changing to melee again.
It's even worse when the item you have in your hands is a bomb, for instance, and you forget to quickly change to a gun and end up wasting that bomb. The game keeps selecting an item on its own when you craft, when a scene is reset, etc so you must to be aware of that at every moment and choose exactly what you want to use, because you will never know what you are holding in your hands.
