Chemult Horde (stealth)

Ey, they are hard as ♥♥♥♥.
Im not able to manage it. Try it 8 times and they always see me when im hiding in the bushes. Thats should not be possible. After my first molotov they straight run after me.
No idea why. Very strange.

stealth isn't the way. the way is pick a path to retreat then just use the obstacles. some paths make it very easy and others hard. i won't spoil it for you but when u pick the right path you'll breeze by that mission

Im done with the story since yesterday. I trired the chemult horde 15 times and give up. I switch to easy mode and skiped it. Same with saw mill horde and one more. It was to nerve wrecking :)

Hords are actually very easy if you use your bike and 3 different weapons for range and with high firerate.
Simply always try to keep distance, when they come to close, up on the Bike and gain Distance again. When all your Weapons are emptied, refill with the Bag-Upgrade on your Bike, and if you really need a break from the Hord, .. get a bigger distance until they can no longer track you *they then start moving back to their place*.

You can also prepare the path you want to lure them with Traps, and when they come close enough use Molotovs and Granades.

I once killed one of those Super Hords like that and wondered "Why didnt the Game recognize this?"
I killed the Saw-Mill Hord early in the Game and wondered why nothing happened after the last of them was dead. When the actual Mission came by where i had to kill it,.. only 1 Zombie of that Hord respawned (thought the whole hord would). Was kinda funny to kill 1 Zombie then and Deacon in the Cutscene pretended like it was a hard job.

Small hint to the bike too: try to get a Tank with high Volume so you dont run out of Fuel while doing this.

Separate them into small chunks and pick them of. Keep a distant and shoot from afar. Once they close in, retreat until the big pack break off. The majority of them will give up chasing you once you distance enough with them. Take out the stray group, go back and repeat. I took off all the horde this way.

Yes, thanks. In no cutsene Hordes this works fine. Run away until they unfollow you and then turn back but in the Story hordes it doesnt work because you are restricted in the area or the mission fail.
To explain, my main problem with hordes is the multitasking during the fight. I get confusing when it gets too much at once and hit the wrong keys over and over again. :)
Funny thing. On the internet is to read the hordes cant catch you when you are running away but thats not true. Go out of stamina and they have you.

But to be honest its ok for me to skip them because the rest of the game is awesome enough to make me happy :) Switch to ease on horde and back to normal when its done. Rest of the game is super easy.

Still works, the area is big enough to drive first to one end,.. then around the Hord and then to the other end. ;P

Just involve your bike into the mix and you will see,.. they are easy to kill :P

The Chemult Horde is probably the second-easiest one, straight after the ranch Horde (where they all just clump inside a pit, waiting for you to lob napalm over a truck from where they can't see you).

For the Chemult Horde you can definitely do stealth. Just hide in the bushes and keep throwing attractors, then lob napalm or a grenade on them when they clump. Just watch out the no stragglers come too close to the bush, otherwise they can spot you and alert the horde.

horde can be killed easy , hide in safe distance use attractors they will pile up on the thing if you already unlock the more powerful molotow is better or use the normal one till they are low in numbers then you can take them out with weapons.

Funny thing. Everyone tells me how easy it is and i should hide in the bushes. BUT nobody seems to have read my OP where i wrote they SEE ME WHEN IM HIDING IN THE BUSHES.

You're probably hiding too close to them. They can see you in the bushes if they are close enough to you. You need to throw the attractor further and make sure they don't get too close to you.

I cleared the Chemult Horde no problem by just hiding in the bushes. At the end I had about 10 left that I had to take out with my gun.
