Tips for playing Deathloop in 2024
1. replace DLSS version 2.3.0.0 with version 2.3.9.0

I myself am a G-Sync user with a 360Hz monitor, despite the 185 FPS I initially have in the outdoor area, the game feels very jerky when the camera moves.

This leads to tip no. 2:

2. use a tool like Rivatuner to limit the FPS to 120, if you try to allow only a few frames more like 130 FPS you will see that the game runs jerky again.

The best way to test the stuttering is to start a new game and from the point where you are in the open, you have to go up to the right where you meet your first opponent.

If you now walk around a bit, you can look down from the upper level (where you actually came from when you started the game) where you can read the word "Cindy". If I swivel the view back and forth with the controller, the game jerks despite the 185 FPS.

Limit the FPS to 120 and the game runs smooth as butter.

Edit:
Here is the best place at the beginning of the game where the jerking is particularly noticeable:

I hope this helps someone to experience the game much more smoothly.

3. run the game as administrator by default.
(that avoids maybe later game crashes)

I now had Void Engine crashes, but this was due to my undervolting of the 14900KS.

I had worked out a "stable" -0.055v offset for the CPU thanks to Cinebench (various versions), but it looks like Deathloop is even more sensitive here.

I lowered my undervolting to -0.030v (via Intel's XTU tool) and the game runs stable now.

Also, don't forget that if there is enough video RAM available, the game uses a lot of video RAM (maybe it's a bug?).

Right at the beginning, I almost reached 16 GB video RAM usage.

(with upscaling to 2800·1620p)

If you experience further game crashes later on, it should help to start the game as administrator:

See here (Updaam at night @ Party Mansion - Repeatable):

So i would run the game as admin by default.

If you want to skip intro logos:

Go to <path-to-game>\base\video\.
Rename, move or delete arkane.bk2, bethesda.bk2, legal.bk2 and warning.bk2

For someone this worked for crashes:

I had this issue every 15minutes, and I found the fix:
1) turn off Vsync in the game
2) turn on Vsync in Nvidia Control Panel for deathlopp

For other I does not work.

I leave this only as an idea (I use this option too).

It currently looks really good, the game runs on Ultra Details with raytracing options at 2880×1620p (with fixed 120 FPS) and even when I run like a madman through the initial areas and take on the enemies, there is no stuttering and above all, the game no longer crashes!

The game crashes seem to be a much bigger problem than you would expect..

Maybe using Nvidia control panel FPS limiter is an option too..

..some wrote that rivatuner crashes the game

Strange, sometimes the game still crashes in one case i closed rivatuner and use nvidias control panel for limit the fps to 120.

Now I limit my CPU via Intel XTU Tool to:

Processor Core IccMax: 307A
Turbo Boost Short Power Max: 253W
Turbo Boost Power Max: 253W
