State of the game - VRAM usage and performance?
I recall there being a fair number of comments about VRAM usage and stuttering whent eh game was launched, and I see that there has been at least one patch since then.

So, what is the current state of the game as far as VRAM usage and performance?

I'm still running 1080p, but hoping to upgrade to a 1440 Ultrawide or 4K (not-ultrawide) display during Black Friday events (finally got a 3070 after close to a year in the EVGA queue, and now I'm worried that 8GB VRAM may be inadequate for current and future games - any comments from 3070 users on performance would be quite welcome). How much VRAM is currently required at 1440 and 4K, and does the game have DLSS or FSR?

I've just been enjoying replaying older games with smooth performance, so I'm not in a hurry to get anything new and shinny (and not even in an FPS mood at the moment), but I did love Dishonored and I really like the aesthetic they chose for Deathloop, so I will get it sooner or later, but I'd like to know what to expect for performance and requirements.

the vram is allocated in 90% of your ram, the game is not using all of it, performance here is not stuttering but the dps drops when i look to some points, its still bad imo

The game is working perfectly on my GTX 1070, Ryzen 5 5600X, 32 GB RAM system. 50-60 FPS in big outdoor areas, 60 FPS inside.

40 to 60 outside. inside 60. RTX 2060 mobile. cpu: amd 3550h. memory : 32gb.

Im running the Game on mixed settings Ulta/Very High 1440p with a 3070ti, 8700k @5ghz and 32gig ram. My fps is sadly not very good even with DLSS in performance mode. What i mean with not good is: I jump randomly from like 140- 150fps to like 60ish and it feels very sluggish and bad.
So yeah, my big thanks goes to Denuvo for ruining it atleast for me.

Me too, dlss dont even helps whit fps, i just leave it on cuz built in anti alisaing, lets complain about it, if everyone says the game is fixed the performance will never be fixed

It is really annoying though that the game uses just a little bit more than 8 GB of VRAM when using Raytracing in conjunction with very high textures.
It creates these huge stutters when you quickly turn the camera and such.
While in fact you get like 70-110 fps with DLSS quality and everything maxed.

Still really bad, even with a 3070.

It's a really clever game so far, but the poor optimizing is just like Dishonored 2's launch.

I have no idea what Vram usage is and I dont care. I have 24gb of vram.
As for performance its outstanding at 4k ultra with RT maxed out.
Visible framerates are rock solid and totally smooth.

This. Happens in the map where the video game visionary is. If you look from the Bakery to the castle, FPS will drop even with low cpu and gpu usage. Also happens in the map with the planes at some points, depends where you are looking.
Found out that lowering texture to low solves this. This is on a 3060Ti... really sucks, and it´s really a lot like Dishonored 2

Size don't last for long with a memory leak.

After playing for about an hour my FPS tanks to like 30 sometimes even 15. Restarting the game gets it back to 70-90.

Sad to say it has happened at least twice that on a long run after a while the FPS gets really choppy. I have a powerful CPU and a 3080 GPU but that doesn't help. In this game, quitting means restarting the level. This is not good.
