In contracts, i am using my own equipment in the right place. How can I fixed it?

Give us a specific example of a contract you accepted and the equipment you are using.

This can happen in several cases. If you are on a contract to harvest wheat or other crops that can give a swathe of straw. If you then try to pickup that straw too, which is not a part of the job, then you would get that message.

i was getting that message every time i turned the harvester outside of the specific field i had the contract for, because i hadnt turned the header off.

That message is pretty normal when doing contract work because another field may be right beside your field you are contracted for. I get that message all the time when I turn around in my tractor or harvester. The message will disappear again when your tractor or harvester is back on the contracted field.

If its cultivation it shouldn't matter what you use as long as it cultivates (shallow, deep, plow, etc) even mixing these will still finish a contract. But with contracts they can sometimes get buggy. Only a couple times has this happened to me, but it can happen. On a different occasion, I had AI run a contract while I ran another. When I was finished I went to the location the AI was at and started cultivating the other side to get done faster. At some point the AI went over what I had already done or vice versa. This caused the game to literally undo some of the progress that had already been completed. Once I noticed it was too late and there was no field left to add to the progress so I had to cancel it at around 96% completion.
But aside from that, as others have said, if its not your land or you have no contract to work on it you will get the message that you do not have permission once you engage your tool on the land. It doesn't stop the tool from running, but it won't allow anything to happen to the crop either good or bad. This is why you can drive thru other fields (not your own) with no worry of damaging crops. You simply cannot change anything on land that isn't yours or you do not have a contract for.
If you take a harvesting contract for wheat and you try to collect the straw it simply will not collect because it isn't yours and that is not part of the contract.

I just had this happen as well. I accepted three baling contracts and rented the equipment for the first. No issues with cutting the grass, rented equipment works on all three fields. Then I want to turn the grass for drying, equipment doesn't work on the first field, so I finish the other two, works fine. Then I lease equipment to do the first field and I get the message "you don't have access to this land" and equipment doesn't turn grass. Field I'm on is blinking on the map, indicating it's part of contract work. Must be a bug.

If it's a cultivating contract you can use anything but plows,
Some mods in the modhub are effectively plow even if labeled as subsoilers, and can lead to this errors.

Right now I have a sowing contract that says "sow field 11 with wheat." I brought my own tractor and seeder, and am using my own seed it was already filled with. The entire time, it has said "You don't have access to this field" but on my map the field is turning yellow behind me and the contract progress is increasing. So there is certainly a bug. Doesn't matter if I'm in the middle of the field or the edge. No mods installed, no DLC even.
