What is it?
Considering shields can nullify nearly 100% of all forms of dmg in this game... I'm going to have to disagree.
Considering multiple methods of staggering bosses and poise breaking them exist, and I don't mean cheese exploitative ones... I'm going to have to disagree.
Considering numerous builds that can annihilate most bosses in seconds without cheese setups exist.... I'm going to have to disagree.
Considering Ash of War and Magic Spam can often beat most bosses without much thought with quite a few AoW / Spell selections and not just specific cheese ones... I'm going to have to disagree.
Considering general player damage is excessively high in favor of the player as is general survivability... I'm going to have to strongly disagree.
Considering quite a few Spirit Ashes can solo most bosses apparently, not to mention make them far easier in general when you help them... I'm going to have to very strongly disagree.
Considering most of the "hard" bosses in the game are simply a Vigor check or require the utmost basic tactical considerations... I'm going to have to disagree.
Well, considering I beat the entire game, and have played the DLC, all at RL1 (without spirit ashes, without coop, without shields, without cheese) and never leveled on my main ever (only using a backup save to help people in coop), not to mention other players who far exceed me, yet I don't feel the game is imbalanced even then aside from a few questionable DLC parts I know leveling would fix... I'm definitely going to have to say there is a pretty glaring flaw with yours and OP's logic.
Just because you get a helluva lot of runes from killing her doesn't make it a cheat. Do you complain when you get 400k+ runes from beating a boss?
Do I personally think it's lame to start a new run by running over there to get some levels immediately?
Yes. And I think the same about running for items.
But are these cheats?
No.
Do I care how you play and how you have fun?
Not at all - I'm happy if you like the game and have fun.
Games had things like this in them since the dawn of time. If you know where item XY is, you can get it immediately. If you know how to get some easy levels, etc.
It's an invalid argument that is based on the undying notion that using half of the items or mechanics in the game is "cheating" or "cheesing the game" because the true Souls player (TM) ofc beats everything solo with a one-handed sword.
Which NONE of these games ever promoted. This is purely a player created myth.

Real pros don't even own the game. Those are the true GAMERZ! Yes, with a Z so you know they're really real.
Sorry bud, I believe you re forgetting the central tenet of any respectable pro gamer....
....yes, they do not even own the game.... but win anyway
That is truly disappointing. To think that everyone had such high expectations of you...
