Also works with the one-eyed shield.
OP, you can summon D to help you with the fight, in addition to a spirit summon. Black Knife Assassins are quite tricky to fight due to how mobile they are. I believe I've heard greatshields will bounce their attacks, leaving them open to guard counters (R2 immediately after a block), making them pretty easy. Otherwise, ashes of war that create long-lasting hitboxes like Stormcaller or Storm Assault can help catch them as they move around.
is it called the sentry torch or the scouts icr.
