im surprised he was that easy. lvl 99 with +4 mimic tear and only took like 5 tries (mostly due to nihil). he is decently able to stagger from bloodhounds fang and doing a crit on him totally prevented him from doing a nihil and going into second phase. Even when he does a nihil, it honestly isnt that hard to not die to. sure, you cant dodge it, but u can just flask in between nihils so u dont get killed next hit. after I did that crit I slashed him a few more times and he died. my bloodhounds fang was +9. It felt like a decently nice break from whats to come later (im looking at you malenia). I didnt really rage at it but it wasnt so easy that I my heartbeat didnt raise when I got him low.

There is a special key item that negates nihil entirely and you can shackle him to the ground in the first phase like margit

Not gonna lie, I personally find his pattern to be the most amusing to learn. Such an enjoyable fight.

Depends on the weapon really. When I was taking my STR/FTH character to the DLC with Siluria's Tree I killed him on level 80 and forgot to even equip the flask and just killed him. It was my 4th character for DLC so I knew him quite well though

You have to kill Mogh summoning the bubble gang ensuring at least one survive and using the big envoy greathorn together with Elden stars or you didnt killed it the proper way. You just ruined your SoUlS experience *GATEKEEPING SCREEEECHES INTENSIFIES*

Now seriously, he is extremly vulnerable to bleed and slash damage. I kill him even before the NHIHIHIH with dual bleed God Skin peelers. Also dont ask me why but i find the poor man sewer Mogh version actually harder.....even with less skills.

No idea why the “lord of blood” is vulnerable to bleed damage. I assumed going in there it was gonna be tough because I assumed he had some bleed resistance or got a buff when bleeded. But no, I didn’t notice any buff and he took seemingly more bleed damage (which was correct)

I usually wait until i get his shackle and anti nihil potion before fighting him, and i usually get him first try.
