Edit: I’m Ngl I’d probably take Ragnarok over bb at this point but it’s cool to see some rumors in flux again
You say this month? Well, so no long wait. If everybody who clicked on a rumor and got hyped for BB remastered or port in the last 8 years, did give 1 dollar to a developer, we could have a working PS4 emulator by now and Sony would have finally realized how much money they lost by not making a simple, 5-6 month dev time port, lol.
Laugh at me all you want but emulating Bloodborne is probably closer to a real thing then getting a remaster or remake for PC that is actually up to the quality Bloodborne deserves.
I play the original Demon's Souls on emulator, too, @4k and 60 fps. It's really fun!
Of course, I own a copy of Demon's Souls, cause I'm not someone who complains about lack of ports to justify pirating. I even bought a ps3 maybe 5 years ago just to be able to finally play Demon's Souls, but since then, the emulator became a better option in every way.
I too, for many years, believed we will see BB being emulated on pc, before we get a real port. And, again, I do own a ps4 pro, which I only bought to play Bloodborne (well, and these days, to also play Elden Ring with a friend cause he doesn't want a gaming pc). But I only play through BB maybe 1-2 times a year, because it's a horrible experience (pun not intended), duo to long loading times, and terrible framerate. When BB comes to pc, I will play that more than any other game, because I truly believe it is Fromsoft's best work by far.
I can deal with the frame rate being 30, if it was a stable 30. But yeah the real issue for Bloodborne on regular ps4 is the loading times. I played it on my friend's ps5 and it cuts the loading in half, but it's still not as good as if it were on pc.
As for pirating, if you give me no means to play it on pc or a modern system well, then pirating is deserved. I would gladly spend $60 on a pc port for Bloodborne, $80 with DLC. If they don't want my money that's their problem. I try my best not to pirate, but these crap head companies just can't accept good things to come to them.
Unless the game is not sold as new anymore, saying you pirate it just because it's not on pc without buying a legit copy, is just an excuse. Bloodborne is still sold as new, and it's also cheap, so if an emulation would be possible, not spending 30 bucks on a legit copy and then emulating, is nothing but morally wrong piracy.
Yeah I disagree heavily. But it's all based on our own spectrums between right and wrong. I'm sure that some find piracy 100% morally justified for any reasons. I do own phsyical copies of 2 out of 3 games I emulated and I have Bloodborne for PS4.
