Moonveil if you can beat the Magma Wyrm early. it's not a terribly difficult fight once you learn it
A lot of people love Bloodhound's Fang. Give it a try if you haven't yet
For sorceries, once you get the horse you can ride over to Caelid and get Rock Sling + Meteorite staff
What do you define as early game. You have everything Pre first lift, then pre golden city, and then you have everything in the Mountion top of gaints and beyond... You also have NG plus so everything in game zero could be considered early game because of how health and damage change.
You also have Build's and classes. What kinda class/build are we going after because thats importent.
IF you're doing Wizard/caster There is the Meterorite staff in Caelid early but cant be upgraded so it fails later. for Melee wizard this is the Lazuli Glinstone sword you farm from Lazuli sorcerers. There is one that stand right next to a site of grace but the drop rate is really low.
Faith weapons all kinda suck because most bosses resist faith but the Halo scythe can be farmed in Calide from clean rot knights in the lake of riot area near a site of grace. Most the rest are either suck or quest/kinda suck.
Best shield early is the Brass shield dropped in the first area. Bad drop right but planty pre storm vale castle.
Reduvia is a good Dex weapon you can get really early and if you do it as part of a quest you get a A.I helper for the fight. Uchigatana is a good early katana that is easy to find in the DeathTouch Catacombs or start as Samurai. Then again if your a samurai you can dual wield the katana if you get a second right away.

Yes...hoarfrost stomp got nerfed like 2 years ago but still is OP as duck, specially against hordes of monsters.

Ash of War: Flaming Strike & Ash of War: Flame of the Redmanes will make you dominant in Limgrave. While split damage is bad, Fire & Flame works on almost everything, minus a Certain Dragon.
While not a Ash of War, Strike DMG works wonders against Miners, Stone Trolls & Crystalians. As a Sunbro addict, I see so many Host Struggles against these mobs. Grab a Club or Bonking Tool of choice, 2 Hand it & Bonk these guys. This is not rocket science.
The whip in castle morne is super op vs any flying enemy and any shield enemy.infact apart from bosses there are very few enemies that can get an attack off you when you spam the whips normal attacks....
(Combine with picking up the meteor magic stuff from the ruins in Lake of Aeonia + the Double Slash ash-of-war from Sellia, the town on the border to said lake + get the Uchigatana from the Murkwater Catacombs and put the ash on it, and you're set for the foreseeable future)
For faith builds the Angelic Scythe's weapon art is really good, and so is the buff and general power of the Tree Sentinel's halberd, but they're locked behind high stats and having to beat a boss respectively.
For pure strength builds I'd probably grab the Gilded Greatshield by farming the first military camp, get any thrusting weapon (Great Epee is probably the best since it gets access to greatsword ashes-of-war) and then relying on guarding attacks and guardcounters. Obviously most thrusting weapons are dex-based so you might wanna put a Fire or Heavy element on them to change them to strength-scaling, if you go with the Epee you can get Eruption later on but you can get Flaming Strike by rushing to Redmane Castle, running past everything and killing the scarab in the graveyard behind the place - technically possible WAY before you're appropriately levelled but kinda hard if you're not familiar with the area already.
