Let them solo them.

If you summon me, and you also summon someone called "let me solo her" or "let me solo him", then I am honourbound to not engage the boss, I will stand by and cheer/watch.
I am curious how you my fellow tarnished view such a situation, would you attack the boss, or would you stand by and let the roleplayer roleplay ?

I would never summon someone to begin with. What´s the point of playing a game when you let others do the bosses for you?

I actually like to summon, after 1000 hours in this game and beating all the bosses I dont mind the company :)
But would you let them solo the boss, or would you help with the killing ?

1. It's not a "roleplay" (unless you count mimicing "Let Me Solo Her" as that).
2. I launched the game and put my sign down because I want to play the game with other people, not watch them from the sidelines.
3. From my experience at least, most of these LMSH-wannabes simply do not live long enough to warrant letting them do their thing.

Never happened during hundred of Malenia/Radagon co-op kills. However i would understand them and even play along unless they absolutely suck and block every Malenia slash with the face.

I totally get that Lyn, and I doubt anyone wanting to solo the boss like that would complain about another summon or the host attacking. Or at least they should fully expect it for the exact reason you stated!

I almost always fight regardless of the other cooperator's name. A few exceptions:

1. Malenia - The "Let Me Solo Her" cooperator got ripped apart. I finished her solo from 50% in phase 1.

2. Malenia (again) - This "Let Me Solo Her" cooperator was doing pretty well until a series of mistakes in phase 2. I jumped in after they ran out of Estus to draw aggro so they could attack her from behind. We finished her off doing this.

3. Godfrey - A "Let Me Solo Him" cooperator was summoned after me. They did really well in the fight, but toward the end of phase 2, Godfrey's AI got stuck in a loop of non-stop shockwave stomps. These stomps were dealing massive damage so I assumed the host must in NG+5 or higher. The host was having trouble dodging the shockwaves and in threat of dying. I joined the fight to break the AI loop and finish him off faster. "Let Me Solo Him" seemed upset after Godfrey died because they were "attacking" me before we were sent back to our respective worlds.

It's a game. Ignore the names of other players, dive in and have fun. If they get upset that's their problem; silly for you to have more respect for their fun than they have for yours.

I have only run into 2 "let me solo her/him" so far, one at Malenia and he seemed like the real deal, it was flawless.
And then again at Mohg where the host joined in and proceeded to get completely roflstomped.

If you wait long enough to see the name of the person you want to summon for Malenia, it is probably too late and you will end up failing to summon them. So people just run around spamming every summon sign until they get two working summons.
