Thrusting weapons (pve) boring as hell?

Is there a thrusting weapons that has an interesting playstyle?
Is it because I am using a Greatshield with it?

Yeah I think Greatshields just take all the fun out of the game for me.

Yup.

But one particular fun playstyle i had was having a thrusting sword in my off hand alongside a slower weapon in the main hand.

I mainly use it on my Cleanrot Knight Cosplay, with the Cleanrot Spear and Halo Scythe.

well, you can use them in powerstance or two handed and dodge roll, also equip some skills for fancy attacks.

of course poking from behind a greatshiel is boring, but it is meant to be boring cheesy tactics

I have a dual Estoc build that goes really hard, the dual weilding rapier combos are fun as hell.

Yeah, it's the greatshield. Shields are really powerful if you use them well, but it's a very, very, very slow playstyle. Not my jam either.

The only thrusting build I'll bother trying is the dual Antspur Rapier 4x status effect build. But only when im really really bored. Otherwise Thrusting weapons are truly meh.

Wow, that's... uh... you've obviously never tried any of the Heavy Thrusting Swords, especially in PvP.

Of course sitting behind a shield stabbing is the most boring way to play

Keep your thrusting weapon and use a buckler and parry in your offhand. It's fun.

If you want an interesting playstyle for thrusting weapons, try the Bloody Helice powerstanced with another heavy thrusting sword.

thrusting swords are only good for pvp, there trash for pve

that weapon is garbage, the only thing that saves it is the weapon art
