Guys you can not dodge Mohg's Nihil
Been helping new players beat mohg, the run is always ended when the 2nd phase starts because the host dies to nihil.

You can not dodge, jump or avoid it . You have one job as host, just spam chug your healing flasks, thank you

Dat crystal tear obviates the need to chug. Plus you get to avenge a real one in acquiring it.

Wait, you really can't dodge it?

I swear i did the first time... and had just been failing the timing ever since.

If a co-op summon parries you at the same time as the proc, I believe there may be special i-frames associated with being parried.

At least in DS1, 2, and 3, the parry hitbox doesn't discriminate enemy vs friendly entity. It's also kinda tricky to time it out, but if anyone is willing to test it out, feel free.

Yes you can "avoid" it. For that you need a

Drink it right after "UNU" 1:13 in the video. IT HAS TO BE PERFECTLY TIMED.

You will take minor fire damage but no deadly hemorrhage buildup spam.

You are most welcome!

Or use Mohg's shackle

Guys, new players don't know or use the purifying crystal tear and have like 700 hp. They die by the 2nd cast. Longtime players obviously know about it, thanks for thinking tho

New players know where to find and use the tear thanks to this thread.

Futile after he growth wings. Only works during the first half of the fight so the only other option (not a option for new players) killing him before he starts to change phase.

Or you can just use your good old red flask and tank the hits.

New players reaching that point with 700 HP. Does that even happen ?

I've been helping people with Mohg since there's a lot of activity there for the DLC and yes, yes they do. They'll somehow have 700 hp, don't have a purifying tear, don't heal during the nihil and do like 300 damage a swing with their dual starscourge greatsword. I have no idea what they're leveling. They have to be at least level 105 to summon me.

The other day, I was summoned into a game. The host died to the first nihil instantly, despite being full health...
