ESG and DEI use massive Bot Attacks destroying the gaming industry, dismissed by companies, and now they are going after FromSoftware and Bandai Namco
Want to know where these toxic riots for inclusivity and censorship on social media may stem from? Over the years, I've noticed increasingly odd patterns among fans; strange profiles, aggressive harassment, and suspicious activities that suggest they might be Bots, and Bandai Namco keeps condoning it by sponsoring dishonest and vitriolic YouTubers. I will mainly use FightinCowboy as the example since he's the user I have researched the most, but I have noticed this is repeated throughout the industry, primarily to push political agendas, including demands to lower the difficulty in Elden Ring and other FromSoftware games. As their customers, you should know where your money goes to.

Parts Of The Bigger Picture

The Bots I've investigated have consistently affected the gaming community with their identity politics, they've been poisoning the well and giving more power to those behind them by dividing fans. This also causes damage to the industry, destroys the identity of the games (in Elden Ring's case, the difficult but fair gameplay), and above all, causes companies to prioritize money over anything else.

A recognizable example is the controversy over Ubisoft and Disney's use of Bots in generating fanfare for the Star Wars Outlaws game and Star Wars: The Acolyte.

That Park Place: Analyst Discovers Vast Effort To Boost 'Star Wars: The Acolyte' Through Possible Botting[thatparkplace.com]

The same happened with Alan Wake 2, this time from Sweet Baby Inc., whose CEO, Kim Belair, directly talked about how they get the contracts to intervene in the games, with labor harassment, and taking advantage of the fact that those in charge of social networks and marketing are the first to be affected by the criticism in social platforms. The same social platforms where thousands of bot accounts swarm.

Right now they are harassing another studio, Game Science, and blackmailing them that if they don't give them $7 million, they will continue the attacks on social networks and the defamatory articles in the disinformation media.

Also, if you dare to oppose their harassment, they will use it to leverage the U.S. Government-funded organization Take This, calling you the harassers.

Bandai Namco's games may be good, but cracks have already shown with their excessive censorship of chats in SOULCALIBUR VI and meddling with character designs in Tekken 8. Furthermore, the recurrent narrative by journalists, advocating for FromSoftware to add an Easy Mode in their games and to make fans appear toxic and stupid, is parroted by many suspicious accounts sharing patterns. At the end of the day, it's the boss who ends up being convinced, and at that point, it's too late, video games become political, or add an Easy Mode that nobody wants... unless "nobody" is called Skynet.

As you can see, they're all related, on one hand, they attack and create support with Bots, and on the other, the complicit media attack the fans under the cover of this "great support" that is seen on social medias. A great part of this is the ESG, which roughly speaking, they are subsidies from BlackRock for putting "woke" ideologies in the companies they handpick, the linked thread below explains it well for more context. These ideologies have always corrupted gaming and are forcing the developers' hands, even Stellar Blade, the game that vowed to be uncensored, reposts Pro-ESG sites that don't like their game. Not only is Botting creating fake outrages that dwarf gamers' concerns, but content creators directly involved in gaming communities have used similar strategies and further boosted these agendas by tarnishing the groups they claim to be a part of.

FightinCowboy, a popular Soulsborne Content Creator on YouTube, has a history of abrasive behavior towards even his viewers as if you don't agree with him, you get your share of harassment. His fans and questionable behaviors raise questions about the integrity of gaming companies and content creation as a whole, as he continues to get sponsorships from Bandai Namco among others, and there is an issue specifically related to Elden Ring and FromSoftware in the Bots that orbit around him.

it is important to emphasize that these people, at all times, try to sweep their abusive behaviors under the rug, their motto is "Do as I say, not as I do". As callous as he is, FightinCowboy has tried to hide what he does and to replace his public image with charitable collaborations with different companies.

The Smoking Gun

One key example is the Twitter user @AHMEDTHE302, who has interacted with FightinCowboy for years, but also with @SQUCOFFEE, a dubious account alleged to be linked to an Arab school. The SQUCoffee website scores poorly on Criminal IP with 3 records of abuse and high chances of phishing URLs.

The website’s domain was registered only recently, yet the Twitter account dates back to 2017, creating a six-year discrepancy. Furthermore, @AHMEDTHE302 was made only a month after @SQUCOFFEE and has a poor score of 2.6/5 on Botometer X. The school even shares documents often as poorly shot cellphone photos of a computer screen (or even another cellphone!)... sometimes twice in a row, everything looks so incompetent.

I'm not claiming FightinCowboy owns the SQUCoffee gig outright, but it may be a Botnet whose services he's using.

Bot Behavior Patterns

In FightinCowboy's YT comment sections, I've identified consistent bot-like behaviors exhibited by users; mismatched playlists, repeated videos, and actions defying human logic. They tend to be very oddly specific with their tastes, but they consistently match FightinCowboy's. Out of 120 accounts investigated in his first Elden Ring video, about 100 displayed bot-like patterns, and that includes Members.
Two Playlists defying human logic[imgur.com]

A trend with Botting, FightinCowboy's viewers often share they couldn't play these games if it weren't for his guides, bringing up that they're too old or having kids among other things to worry about learning them, inclining towards Pro-Easy Mode debates, it keeps being carried to playthroughs not even related to FromSoftware.

Their overall attitude also raises red flags, as they often exhibit toxic behaviors and share a similar language to FightinCowboy's. They create discourse across gaming communities and politics and tend to be in favor of the ESG, such as FightinCowboy's Starfield Pronouns rant where he and his more overzealous fans were in bad faith.

His 2nd Thread[x.com]
Kotaku being Pro-ESG with Starfield's Pronouns

It raises yet more red flags when users in the replies have very similar profiles, for example, @Sunlight_Sword & @Solaire01444301 were made only 3 months apart and score poorly on Botometer with a 2.6/5.

@Solaire01444301's Profile[x.com]

@Solaire01444301's Interactions with FightinCowboy[x.com]
Bots tend to not understand jokes or metaphors, like @Solaire01444301 for this entire thread[x.com]

The toxicity carries over to FromSoftware communities like with "Dark Souls Needs An Easy Mode"; many news outlets, such as those Pro-ESG, follow this narrative while hyperbolizing about the community, Dimitri Monroe on YouTube already has an excellent video on it, but he has intriguing commenters that have similar traits to FightinCowboy's Bots, like @mj91212 who made 170 One-Video-Playlists, most of which named Repeat ###. It's even more telling it missed the point of the video and it's not the only one belittling FromSoftware fans, and this showcases they don't always benefit a creator.
@mj91212's Playlists

That's the common theme with the disinformation media and the FightinCowboy Bots; they ask for an easy way, almost always with emotional blackmail, putting themselves in a position of victimhood (the same thing Sweet Baby Inc. always does), and if you refuse, you are a bad person, to justify aggressions as a "response".

The vitriol is for Publicity, because if there's nothing to gain from Botting, there would be no reason for it to continue, the Bots create a narrative that alienates the fans by portraying them as stupid and toxic and where they're "The Good Guys". They win by their number, which appeals to the lowest common denominator and the ESG, growing a community built on propaganda all while dividing those who would oppose them. In the case of FightinCowboy, he takes advantage of the fact the algorithm doesn't differentiate Bots from real users and no disinformation media will attack him if he belongs to the same group of harassers.

As a result, companies have fewer reasons to make good products as the bar gets lower, because why would there be all these people pushing for inclusivity only for the products to fail regardless? Why the same discourse when the numbers don't add up?
Well, a significant portion, if not most supporters, are Bots.[x.com]

There is some truth aboht what yih say regarding bots on YouTube but admittedly I didn't read this whole thing. Also, I don't know what ESG and DEI are so I'm not fully understanding.

If it makes you feel any better, Fromsoft will be self publishing globally in the future

Christ. Imagine being a real-world Dale Gribble.

I'll be the first to admit I do not understand all walks of life, because I haven't lived them. As a cishet white dude with parents who were both reasonably successful and emotionally/psychologically stable, I've had a relatively easy ride through life.

I don't understand what my trans students are going through, because I've never identified with anything apart from the body I was born with.

I don't really understand what my same-gender-oriented students are going through, because I've loved women all my life.

But I will eat a bullet for them the same way I will my cishet kids--and whomsoever fires said bullet better pray they put me down in one, because they're not getting a second.

The idea that this thought process could be relegated to "botting" speaks only to the absolute soullessness and intellectual poverty of the folks who'd make that claim: "you think differently than me, therefore you're an NPC."

Imagine that level of arrogance. Imagine that level of narcissism. Imagine that utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lack of empathy, humanity, humility, and basic intellectual curiosity.

Imagine having to get out of bed every morning, look in the mirror, and realize you're that person.

No, I'm not sorry, and no, I don't care that I got "baited." This middle school sophistry dressed up as cogent argument will always be pathetic, and it needs to be called out as such.
