Renalla Moon or Ranni Moon stronger?

Which of these two spells is stronger, since the only info you get ingame would be Renalla`s has 2 more in wisedom.
I don`t have the lvl for testing it myself atm, but i just want to know

At 80 int using Lusat's staff Rennala's Full Moon does 1338 magic dmg, Ranni's Dark Moon does 1227. Both spells can be buffed by the Carian Regal Scepter (+10%) but only Ranni's Dark Moon can be buffed by Ranni's Snow Witch hat, which boosts the spell's damage by another +10% making for 21%, as buffs stack multiplicatevily. Meaning it might potentially deal more damage than Rennala's Full Moon.

Ranni's Dark Moon inflicts Frostbite.

It is superior against anything not immune to Frost like Malenia for example.

Both apply a 10% extra magic damage taken debuff and pretty much do similar damage with the exception of frostbite build procs from Ranni, so the dark moon is the most solid choice.

Now remember you can only have one resistance reduction debuff so if you are going to use something else like knowledge above all (Gideon scepter ash of war) or Greyoll roar just pick one or you will overapply the debuff.

Ranni's Dark Moon is better if the enemy can be Frostbitten. Rennala's Moon is better if the enemy can't be Frostbitten. Either way it's not a spell to spam. The use of the Moons is to open with them to inflict a debuff to buff your Comets.

Use Ranni's Dark Moon it has frostbite and will debuff the enime to magic damage
