*SPOILERS* Fia's questline

Started a new run trying to get as much items preparing for the new DLC. I haven't played Elden Ring for over a year until the recent DLC announcement. I've forgotten some things about the game but I DO remember ER has some BS sidequests/items that becomes unobtainable for the rest of the current playthrough if you advance too far or make the wrong choice. (Seluvis and Volcano Manor comes to mind...)

Does giving D's armor to his twin brother have him end Fia's questline prematurely if you didn't finish it? Or will he only kill her after you finish up Fia's questline and picking up the death rune she makes?
