Besides stomping on godricks head or kicking you off a ledge.
not just there purely for exposition.
The problem isn't Melina, its between the keyboard and the chair.
A game with countless of those NPCs.
Oblivion literally has characters like that.
Yet you're fine with those cause it's oblivion, your beloved masterpiece of a game.
What a joke.
Maybe you're the bias one
lol.
You can't seriously believe yourself at this point. This is just outlandish.
Literally having individual voice actors isn't a benefit.
Man you must be like not even 18 years old yet considering you're never played a game without voice acting.
Having a handful of voice-actors and having npcs switch voice-actors on the fly completely ruins the immersion of the game. It becomes a joke.
And then you have dialogue such as the one presented in the video.
Yeeeeeeeees, completely believable. Great acting. Great game. Truly a Masterpiece.
Is that better in RPG games like div 2 or BG3 where NPCS ARE LITERALLY ON A 10 SECOND LOOP.
At least this game attempts to do something other games haven't even tried.
You don't even know how good this type of system is.
You truly wanna sit there and tell me that you prefer this over NPCs behaving like actual humans? Seriously? THIS is the hill you wanna die on?
Not a single NPC has any emotion at all lol.
Their characters don't have any special facial expression
they always look the same lol.
Yet you're complaining about oblivion who tried to make random immersive flowing conversations with a limited amount of lines. Sure it looks bad now because its dated and games weren't nearly as big of media back then as they are now.
"NPCs behaving like actual humans" guy NO NPC IN A SOULS GAME ACTS LIKE A HUMAN LOL.
They don't even attempt to lip sync lol
