Cant find Alexander

I have completed the game and trying to go back and find alexander but i cant find him ANYWHERE i have checked every place where his is supposed to be but he is no where to be found. i did not kill him or else id have the warrior shard but i dont have it.. Can anyone help me please..?

The last location he moves to is in Farum Azula and it's out of the main path's way. Did you make sure to check there? You need to have a Stonesword Key to deactivate a fog door leading to an elevator which takes you up. If you progress through the area he will way be waiting on some floating ruin pieces.

Yep checked there, when i was finishing the playthrough i killed the dragon that was there but he was no where to be found. And ofc ive checked there since to see if he turned up

What about the other places? Sorry, I read that you went to look in every possible spot but have you checked Radahn's battlefield again? Maybe he's still around to dig through fallen soldiers that he can stuff his face with.

Well that sucks. Do you remember the way you approached the quest initially?

Try verifying your game files with steam, maybe it fixes it.

i found him in the magma next to the magma wyrm on mount gelimir, have you checked there?

Check all his other locations, as I don't think his questline advances unless you actually seek him out and talk to him at a given location. Some steps can be skipped, but some cannot. I think his Liurnia appearance is optional.

The main two locations I'd check are Radahn's arena and Mt. Gelmir (where he's chilling in the lava). If you truly can't find him, then check every location he appears in, such as Limgrave, Gael tunnel, and so on. I'm not sure what happens if you kill him and don't pick up his drop (is it added to your inventory automatically?) but you might find the Warrior Jar Shard simply sitting in one of these locations as a failsafe.

Double check that you don't have either the Warrior Jar Shard or the Shard of Alexander. Is it possible you might have dropped it or traded it to another player? Is it in your storage?

You might also check if you have sin at the Church of Vows. I feel like I've heard of NPCs rarely disappearing in Souls games and absolving your sins might make them reappear.
