Serpent-Hunter + GHIZA'S WHEEL = cheat?

so this guy invaded me, he had Serpent-Hunter pointed at me with the GHIZA'S WHEEL ash of war i could hear the wheels sound on it, the funny thing is i took damage from like 20 yard away, insane damage too. is it cheat? or a glitch? also ♥♥♥♥ this game

It is a moveset swap glitch which existed in every single Fromsoft game, if I am not mistaken.
People just figured out how to make the most out of it in this game.

It's a glitch called Pizza Swap that fromsoft tried to fix, it became really hard to do but it's still possible. Gives you the range of the serpent hunter with the attack speed of ghiza's wheel.
Dude probably used some macros to pull it off. Not really cheating but abusing the game mechanics and glitches to ruin multiplayer

You can but don't expect anything to happen any time soon. FromSoft is currently polishing their newly announced dlc and we likely won't see another balance patch until dlc release. As to bans, you can give it a shot but from what I've heard, it's not likely to happen.

Its called chainsaw, it's an exploit, and theres not really much you can do about it.

As Lord Bob said, you can report them, but don't expect anything to come of it. To actually counter the glitchers, hit them with arrows from afar and then point downward + ♥♥♥♥ pot + block true combo.

exploit/glitch, best you can do is block the guy so he can't invade you again
