idc bout open world or not open world, i enjoyed dark souls as not open world. i just think this is bad idea to make this separate game from elden ring base game. it looks same as well, why not just merge it with base game. despite new mechanics and system it wouldve worked as dlc just fine. and i dont understand why this huge rich company after all money they made, cant use some of that money to make new enemies and assets. this "new game" is even using same enemies with exact same ai and models from elden ring too

genuine question, i wonder if its an actual fromsoft gem or just sony slop?

cos didn't miyazaki state that there wont be another elden ring dlc or game?
so i'm thinking maybe sony has more influence in it and they're just using elden ring's name to deliver slop. or who knows maybe i'm wrong..

yep , i think you are correct .They are using elden ring's name , it could have a new name since there is nothing like elden ring in this game except from some reused assets

My guess is that Nightreign is part of Bandai's roadmap for Elden Ring after they realized how successful it was. Meaning base game --> dlc --> spin off. Which hopefully is the last of it's influence we see after FromSoft acquired the rights to Elden Ring.

It's supposed to be similarly priced like SotE, and the gameplay is somewhat different to their core games which have been released so far.
