We have both placed out entire Seamless Coop inside the Elden Ring game-folder -> inside the Seamless Coop folder we're then editing the ersc_settings.ini using notepad (or equal to) -> inside the .ini we're having all the different settings and the section with invaders is explained like this:
"[GAMEPLAY]
; Invaders are other players that will join your world uninvited and try to kill you and your party. 0=FALSE 1=TRUE
allow_invaders = 0"
During our Elden Ring play, in the options and matchmaking we have set all of it to "diabled", just as a sort of "safety measure"
once they start like panicking it can get really funny really fast. they run into enemies and stuff.
no fun getting oneshot by someone with a lategame weapon/spell/consumable for the sin of only investing majority of your levels into vigor instead of all of them
thanks mr. invader.
You must have misconfigured something.
Also, there is no matchmaking in seamless. In vanilla you can only be invaded by people with a similar rune and weapon level to you (or lower)
I do not know why abyone would play Seamless with strangers (coop or invasions), there are 0 cheat protections
You have to set the ini to 0 in order to shutoff invasions. Read the Git Hub instructions.
We need something like the SOTFS forelorn or something.
That game had such great ideas in it
- Larger groups of enemies in higher NG+ runs when we have the equipment to finally deal with them properly.
- Forelorn type invaders on NG+ and above
- New enemy variants showing up (funfact, Ds3 had all four black knight types in the game files yet only two were used)
- New boss phases on NG+ runs. Such as Pontiff's cut phase 3.
- Heck maybe once we get to NG+5 it pulls a "cinders" on us and starts messing with the level routes?
So many ideas could have been expanded upon NG+ changes... such wasted potential...
