Someone please tell me how you're supposed to fight the dual-wielding banished knights in Castle Sol
They hit you once and just stunlock you to death with one huge combo, something this game is infuriatingly fond of in the last third. Oh, and they can heal.

Try parrying

What's your build like? Weapons, attributes?

I'd give different recommendations depending on if your weapon is faster or slower than theirs.

Run in, sprint to one of the summoned spirits, use a bewitching branch.

While it takes the heat off you for a moment, either branch the other spirit or summon one of your own. It doesn’t trivialize the fight, but it’s something that is surprisingly unknown by many.

Greatshields absolutely trivialize them. Most of their attacks bounce right off, giving you a clear opening for a guard counter, and the attacks that don't are pretty easy to just block outright and wait for them to stop.

If you can't use a greatshield, don't try and fight them at close range constantly. Bait them at medium range, make them use their air-dash attack, then counter once they finish. Immediately back off then repeat.

(This is referring to the boss fight knights, I presume?)

Yep! Not the actual boss, of course. But you can turn his summons against him and make it a hell lot more easier :)

Just don't engage them like a normal mob where you'd be reacting and dodging their attacks. Only move in to hit them in openings, and be prepared to gtfo when it starts flailing those swords around - just run away. The best way to deal with them is to nuke them down with overwhelming damage before they can pressure you.

use the item that convert ennemies into allies, and watch them face the commander

Parrying is the best way indeed:

I recommend the OP takes his time practicing this as it can make a lot of parts of the game very easy:

You don't need the biggest greatshields anything with that bounce effect works. Jelly shield has it for instance and it's an easy shield to use. Just make use you have enough stamina to tank their hits.

Dragon Rot breath takes care of both of the spirits at the beginning.

I assume OP means the one, you find after the church and climb up the ladder beyond the house with the rats.
This one is a lot tougher, than the one in the boss fight.
Honestly, that guy is brutal. I overwhelmed him after many tries by breaking the poise with a big weapon, but it's pretty hard dodge the attacks and get hits in. The environment and constant porting doesn't help
