Quickstepping is slower than sprinting I still can't get past the second area with the deathwheel.

You'd do better watching a video on this. I find 100%Guides to be the most straightforward. Roll through lava. A few hidden nooks you need to find to progress. Cleared it without riding chariots. Sometimes resetting to the start grace is a good strategy.

To easily get to the boss room, it is at the very end/bottom of the first chariot ramp. At the bottom you end up with only lava and have to roll through it to get to the little opening on the right at the very end. Use a Flamedrake Talisman and/or the flame protection incant, but honestly lava doesn't hurt too bad.

Auzira Hero's Grave is so bad also... there's one spot you have to weave between two side-by-side chariots. I died a bunch of times there.

That video has "return to start" as if that's just something you can do before you kill the boss.

Riding it is the way to go if you've reached the halfway point imo. By dumb luck this has been the easiest hero grave for me because I got lucky and got on that chariot first try. You can also get a bit of loot if you make it to the end of the lava with the first chariot. It doesn't follow you all the way down so you can just lava-stroll.

Edit: You can use your grace item in your inventory to 'die' and return to a grace. It's near your flasks.

The spot where you have to drop down and ride the chariot I ended up dying several times because I would move ever so slightly and brush against a spike. You have to be on the platform just perfectly.

I was able to teleport back to the start grace from multiple spots in the cave.

Teleporting is prohibited if the boss in the dungeon is still alive.
