What level of motion blur do you guys use, and does it affect performance/fps

None. Always. When focused, your eyes will blur peripheral motion. When you suddenly decide to focus on a background item for any reason, motion blur makes the game feel disgusting. IMO.

no motion blur at all, because it causes me motion sickness. I'm running around with 60fps most of the time

Motion blur RL 120. It's meta, plus I like blaming the game and not my own eyes.

I generally turn off motion blur in action games where I'm trying to play my best. Removing it usually has a very minimal improvement to performance.

1) turn the volume down
2) turn motion blur off

...That begs the question as to why they keep putting it in games.

Hell I even know some console players often turn motion blur off if possible (I'm one of them).
