It's not hard to catch either, and I never understood why people complained so much about it. All you have to do is run and dodge a handful of spells - it's a nice change in pace. I think they also nerfed his tendency to run away in a patch not long after launch.
Otherwise this topic is beating a very dead, and pre-bashed horse.
From could make the best bossfights (Malenia, Godfrey/Hoarah and Maliketh) and the worst bossfight (Elden Crap) in the same game, they achieved the Alpha and the Omega of boss fights in the same game, just From to do it.
I dont care what anyone say, when I defeat the final boss I just skip this boring playable cutscene with Mimic +10 because I dont want to waste so much time running around for this crap.
Exactly, and I hated to have to run around the "bosses" at Monster Hunter World every 2 to 5 hits.
Fortunately From did not copy the MHW idea or else we would ahev to run after Elden Beast through ther whole capital or maybe even through the whole game and without Torrent, what would be a true pain.
I am really not a fan of these bosses that barely fit into your screen.
An understandable reaction to such an awful final boss. It was annoying on caster and it was annoying on melee (for different reasons).
I second the opinions that this boss was intended to be done with access to Torrent...
I quite like the elden beast.
