Solo invasion

So, something odd happened tonight while playing. I think I encountered a hacker because my world was invaded while I was playing solo and I didn't even have a chance to realize what was happening between seeing the invasion warning and my death. I was in Limgrave at the Gatefront Ruins.

Sure you didnt accidently turn on taunters tongue? Defo wasnt an NPC invader but to be invaded something had to be invoked or we would see more of these threads

Could it have been an NPC invader? If not, wow that is bad for this game..

There are NPC red phantoms, one in Limgrave is near the amphitheatre. Hackers are also a thing, and a major reason many people (myself included) never play online.

I got invaded by this hacker guy in Roundtable Hold, I think his name was Albert something.

NPC invader 100%. If you don't meet the requirements for a player invasion you cannot get invaded, period doesn't matter what kind of hackers are in this game.

Was it RECUSANT HENRICUS or BLOODY FINGER NERIJUS ???

Either way, you may have walked off of Gatefront Ruins, did not even notice and got invaded by a NPC invader.

you probably got invaded by recusant henricus or accidentally turned on taunters tongue. i guess its possible you can into some super rare, random glitch that allows you to be invaded.

its not possible for a hacker to use CE and invade a world that is not open to invasion.

Its hard to turn on the taunters tongue when you dont have it yet.

I don't have the taunters tongue on the character I was on. I was at the site of grace right outside the Gatefront ruins. I was no where near any areas where scripted invaders are supposed to be.

I was sat at the site of grace right outside the Gatefront ruins. There are no scripted invaders there. I had no wait time to search in between the warning and my death

One time I got invaded while unembered in DS3. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a rare bug/glitch that makes it possible.
