Default Knight Set, Alva's set, Drakeblood Set and Abyss Watchers were the MVPs and after that i think i never wore anything else.
I really wanted to do a Havel character, but never got around to it - having heavy armor is just of no use in that game and you had to be like SL200 to be able to fast-roll with that thing, because any defensive bonuses it provided were not worth a fat roll which just made you a free kill in PvP. So a "real" Havel would be a PvE only character instead, and even then for password only.
I really wanted to like Lothric Knight's set, but it just doesn't look as good on the player as it does on the real deal, not to mention that you couldn't even acquire the blue elite variant which looked way better.
Almost forgot Fallen Knight's set. It was pretty alright as well, although also suffers from "junkyard" syndrome and quickly became a symbol of scrubs.
Silver Knight's armor is not even accurate and lacks shoulder guards and looks off without it.
ER drip is a lot superior in that way - a lot of the sets seem to be in pristine condition like Carian Knight's. The big knights (the ones with greatshields and partizans/greatswords) can all be farmed for their respective sets which look great (grind is kinda cringe though).
Crucible knights look cool, and so do tree sentinels, rot knights... I find ER's choice of cosmetics just far superior - i felt like DS3 always lacked a proper honorable knight set with sole exception of Drakeblood which was my go-to set on almost every character, and even then it was hard to figure out the right body proportions to make it look good.
Problem solved.
Hoslow, Alberich, Beast Champion minus the helmet, Carian Knight, Night's Cavalry are also nice to me.
Some more separate chest pieces and helmets too, chest pieces mainly for their capes, which is what you'd see most of the time during gameplay.
But yeah, that's a very low % i named just now of the total amount available.
When it comes to fashion, DS2 > ER > DS1 > DS3.
DS3 did have a few hits like the Cathedral K***ht set and Leonhard's Garb, but there's just not a lot to work with.
has some very good ones like the dancer set but otherwise pretty meh, elden ring's armor is much better especially now after the dlc
I will say though the heaviest armors in elden ring look very meh which sucks because they have the best stats.
Then Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 3.
