Rellana's Armor set is... underwhelming?

Like, it looks good but I've noticed that there are armors that are cheaper and offer higher resistances (Royal Knight armor set) and poise than hers (Scaled armor).
Does Rellana's armor have a hidden effect on her that I was not aware for her weapons? (Like Rogier's armor that increases magic damage by 3% per piece, which also includes magical ashes of war, something that is not mentioned in the description)

i think the gloves from that set look so out of place and goofy, anyone else notice this?

Most armor sets in the game are there for fashion souls, cosplay and thematic builds. If you want to optimize your armor to be the most useful possible, you will end with some ultra ugly abomination mix of the heaviest sets.

wtf? You chose armor by its looks? Thats silly, i bet you are into those skins microtransactions heavy games, like Fortnite and LoL. Thats bad advice for players, he will end with a weak armor just because how shinny it is.
