Do you use all the armament slots?
Or only what you need?

only what I can carry without taking off armor

Usually two per side; Sword+Dagger for ripostes in my main and Shield+Talisman/Staff in the other

No reason to fill slots when quick swapping is a thing. Especially since it affects weight.

No.

If I have more than 1 item slotted to a hand, it's usually just a dagger with a useful ash of war or an incantation seal. Sometimes a bow for long range aggro pulls.

On my higher-level builds, I usually have two or three in my right hand that I cycle between, and a seal in my left.

only two, its easier that way for me (for weapons, For the other side i also use two, one with a shield with golden parry and a dragon communion seal)

I honestly just use 1 weapon and maybe a seal. I enjoy playing the basic big stick builds so I don't really need a bunch of weapons.

Only what I need, never more than 2 items on a hand.
I find trying to swap between 3 weapons in combat is more likely to cause you to mess up and get hit than anything else.

Only what I need. Weight matters. Now, with that being said, pretty much all my characters have 4 of those slots filled at any given point.

So I’m not the only one it seems. Apparently, people get into the inventory, navigate the entire arsenal and hard swap weapons in time successfully. And here I am, getting smacked trying to equip my third armament.

2 weapons of the same type
1 incantation "weapon"
"maybe" 1 heavy bow
So at best I use 4 of the 6 slots but often just 2 or 3 of the 6 slots.

I guess that is "hardswap" not "quickswap"

unless a very long jump is needed the dlc provides a talisman that adds resistances with equipload so i stay always clumsy no empthy weaponslot outside a jumping puzzle.
dont forget to level endurance any ten levels and enough poise to complete weapon swaps under pressure.
ranged battles can be very relaxing when properley prepared never went out without at least a serpent bow and some flechted poison arrows against snipers but not in your hand when entetring a room or going around any corner.
also a torch or a perfume bottle weight near nothing depends on the location.
a heavy spear alongside a big shield for close combat for anything that survives the greatings with a staff or breath.
never search in your inventory during combat.

Yes, all i can carry to synergize with the schools of sorceries/incantations im using and elemental damage.

Like this, everything (except the death prince staff wich im using to cast with Gelmir one in the other hand) empowers magma damage and i just have to swap to certain seals/staves to get the best of it.

Depends on the build. If I dual wield or run a hybrid build, I sometimes use up all of them. If I use a light roll build, I usually just have 1 in my left and right hand and that's it. I rather not spend a million points in end if I can help it after all.
