Uh, no, I don't think I will be real with you on this one.
after taking a break and playing a bunch of other games I have no issues with replaying elden ring or any other game
I've played a lot of other games in between too but honestly replaying it alone without coop didn't seem that fun to me anymore, maybe that's just me.
"...50-60 hours or so just helping..."
Are these typos? Did you mean 250 and 500-600 maybe?
EDIT: Let the edit game, begin
You are just putting this like if you discovered hot water....OP.
Diversify, try something new in Elden Ring! Builds, goofy boss challenges or as you mentioned help other players. After all variety if the spice of life.....Or that what they say. Pity the salt is not a spice.
As someone that loved this game from the start to the end....3312hrs of playtime. The game will get boring ye.....maybe.s you can always change up your build for the next playthrough, go for RL1 challenge, use weapons that are out of your comfort zone, many different builds varieties to choose from. Like I just got done doing a smithing dagger only run and it was pretty enjoyable.
After all that, I don't plan to play this game for another 1-2 months, but I'll be back, ELDEN RING is amazing for many years to come :)
I absolutely agree this is an amazing game. I honestly don't know how you guys manage to get past the 600 hour mark playing it alone but to me yeah i've completed the game 4 times and after Shadow of the erdtree without coop, it just doesn't hit right. I personally don't think i would do challenge runs tbh thats why to be COOP exploration playthroughs are better.
You're absolutely right, my god i was such an idiot. I should totally do another Strength/Faith build playthrough! The solution was right infront of me and i was too blind to see it.
The solution--as many have suggested--is to play something else for a while.
Like Koala, I've been playing Chrono Trigger at least once a year since it launched back in 1995. I'm probably getting close to 100 runs at this point, and yet, somehow, I'm not sick of it.
This is in part because it's the greatest JRPG ever made (if you disagree, you have a right to your opinion; you also have the right to be wrong), but in much larger part it's because I do things like go to work, spend time with my wife, hang out with my dogs/cat, work in the yard, and when I play video games (this is the kicker) I don't exclusively play Chrono Trigger until I'm sick of it.
Strange, I know, but just try it. You may find that the bare minimum of absence will make the heart grow--if not fonder--at least slightly less bored.
