stuff disappearing from inventory
I went into new game plus recently. Got the sacred order greatsword from the elden beast remembrance. Upgraded it to +9 and did the hill farm in mogwyn palace. Progress the story a little farther get a issue with elden ring disconnecting even though my internet is fine. Check my inventory for the sword to kill the death rite bird in calied that drops the death poker and its GONE! restarted the game multiple times and every thing. Its not coming back, found on reddit its been a problem for awhile. Anyone have any insite on this issue?

Did you make sure to check with the inventory chest when you sit at a site of grace?

Are you using any mod? It could be bug in the mod.

I have 9 characters, some of them in NG+, and never noticed something
spontaneously disappeared from inventory or storage in vanilla, unmodded, game.

Yes checked inventory chest and it wasn’t there. It randomly came back after a few time of me opening and closing the game.

Never had installed a mod before all vanilla

Well, if it happens again, try verifying your files through Steam. That seems to clear up a lot of the weird bugs.
