Reminder that you can parry colossals as long as they are held onehanded.

Any enemy swinging a colossal sword is going to have long recovery frames, meaning there will be openings for backstabs.

Also worth to note that most ppl at meta will not be having poise above like 110 or so, meaning look for your options to breach this poise-damage value with something quick.

A lot of colossal swords users try to chain crouch-poke. Once you get poked, jump in place immediately and punish with a jumping attack

Use whips, they outspace them. Or stack poise and protection and use colossals yourself. Or use ranged fast spell spam. (if you are as bad as me, if you are good you can just reaction roll all attacks and punish easily, mind spacing and roll into enemy)

The easiest way to win right now regardless of build is physical status projectiles.

Second easiest would be to pressure at range with spells or ranged ashes of war and just attack when they get close to you.

Third easiest use a great shield stack stamina tools, and just block and punish

Fourth easiest sprint around like an idiot and just punish button presses, bonus points if you use throwing weapons

Fifth easiest find an agressive ash of war and do it in someone's face or bait them. Mesmer spear, death knights axes, Yoda katana etc.

To be honest they are pretty much equally free if you are going for ranked 5 no skill required.

Wait what, can they? I'm almost certain that twohanded colossals can not be parried by any means, just like in DS3.
