[BUG?] Why cant Lizard Greatsword have Cragblade Ash of War?

From what I have read, Cragblade provides a Weapon Buff and those types of AoW may not be applied to the Lizard Greatsword. :(

Lizard Greatsword in particular cannot be used with AoW's that provide elemental buffs, and yes, Cragblade is one of those.

You need to do some research on the Lizard Greatsword. That is where you will find the proscription against using Weapon Buff AoW on it.

Elden Ring information is often vague, incomplete, and sometimes incorrect. Not necessarily a 'bug' but certainly could be a textual omission in the information.

The text information "Strike/Pierce" is in error. It should read "Standard/Pierce".

So it still got that false information then. I really hate how it is like that, because I sometimes forget that it's just fake. Are you sure it's supposed to be standard/pierce though? I wouldn't put it past them that the text might be the real deal and the damage type being wrong, since there's been quite a bit in the DLC that isn't exactly what it should be. It doing strike damage would also make it more unique.
