Yesterday I had a rare blue summon to a hosts world. The invader was called "The drip checker" or something like that. He was a fashion judge. He went and inspected the host, the phantom and me using the mini telescope. When he checked out the phantom, he used the lamenter's prattling. Clearly that phantom was not up to his standards.
Since my fashion souls was bad and I knew what was going on, I instantly changed my clothing to gravebird armor/fur leggings and showed my character's beautiful face in order to impress the invader. He checked me out from all angles and eventually, he used the "you're beautiful" prattling and gave me the flower needed to craft the lulling branch. I thanked him and returned to my world.
Defender joins the game and can't find the invader so defender leaves invader gets points for just hiding in till host leaves. All the invader needs to do is find a spot that is high up or below most areas were there is no reason to even be at that spot cus it goes nowhere.
you are thinking a bit too much outside the box i think
as i said, if anything invader is doing the host a favor by blocking other invaders
also nobody knows where to go on blind runs in this game, you just progress the level and find the fog eventually is not that hard (unless we are talking about the sewers lol)
I agree that it's not the end of the world but most people aren't going to know every rule in the game. I did the same thing OP did and just jumped the ledge to quit. I don't know if there really is anything that can be done and every game has people that will exploit or just troll and be difficult. However it also doesn't mean it hurts to just give a bit of empathy to the poster because we ALL have been annoyed like that or worse in this game or many others and everyone isn't an encyclopedia on depth of game mechanics. I have over 500 hours and learn new stuff every day on this forum and did also in this thread about how the items work in pvp that were mentioned!
Anyway op, it sucks but I think this game won't get patched for this issue and it's probably rare as well. Every game with online will have crappy people looking to be as difficult as possible for whatever motive they have. Just gotta roll with it. Cheers
So you can technically still play with those safes even if an update breaks the mod._-
That being said, you will most of the times have to wait less than half a day after an Update until the mod is patched and you can continue playing again.
Imho it's worth the wait as seamless is by far the superior coop experience.
